Autumn is upon us, and I'm packing the car and heading to Brøndsalen in Frederiksberg. From Thursday the 16th to Sunday the 19th of October I'm participating in The craft market in Brøndsalen, which brings together more than 25 skilled artisans under one roof: https://khib.dk/
It's a place where you can feel the craftsmanship up close. Wood, textiles, glass and clay side by side – and the conversations that arise between stands and customers are one of the things I love most. Experiences, ideas and lots of stories about materials and processes are exchanged.
It's my first market in Brøndsalen and I'm looking forward to meeting new people, recognizing some of those I've spoken to before, and being inspired by everything the other exhibitors have created.
I have packed mine. handwoven textiles – scarves, tea towels and cloths – in the calm colors of autumn. But I also go to share the joy of craftsmanship.
Brøndsalen is located in the middle of Frederiksberg Have, and when the light falls through the large windows and the leaves scatter outside, a special calmness arises. There is a lovely café in Brøndsalen, so I am sure it will be a pleasant experience.
