Handwoven rugs and blankets

I really like to weave blankets in the super delicious merino yarn from the Danish spinning mill. Henrichsens Wool Spinning Mill. This gives the blanket a light and not too thick quality. I buy the yarn in the pure white and grayish natural shades and plant dye it in all sorts of shades, which are always beautiful together.. I also buy yarn from other manufacturers when the quality needs to be thicker, or I buy yarn on my travels around Europe. You can read about my textile experiences in Europe here.

Rugs and runners are woven with cotton rags shredded from everything from bedding to shirts, giving the rugs the most beautiful shades. 

If you can't find the color or dimensions you want, I'm happy to weave to order. It won't be more expensive, but it's fun to choose colors and designs together. I always make an effort and that's why it takes time. You will find my contact information here.
